Allah and the Cosmos - CREATION IN SIX DAYS. who is allah

Allah! There is no God but He, the Living, the Self-subsisting, the Eternal. No slumber can seize Him, nor sleep. All things in heavens and earth are His. Who could intercede in His presence without His permission? He knows what is Before or After or Behind them. Nor can they encompass any knowledge of Him except what He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them, for He is the Highest and the Supreme (in glory).” [Surah Al-Bakara (2:255)]

TRUTH ABOUT JESUS - - - - Jesus in the Qur'an

Jesus said, “Verily, I am the slave of God. He has given me the book and made me a Prophet” [Qur’an, 19:29-33].

“(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me.” [Al-e-Imraan: (3:50)]

Truth about Jesus

Jesus (peace be upon him) came from a long line of Prophets (including ‘Jacob’, ‘David’, and ‘Solomon’) and a family of priesthood. He was the son of Mary, who was the daughter of Imran.

His birth was miraculous

Jesus birth from a mother who had never been unchaste was a sign of God’s greatness. Even his birth was a mercy. God said,

“It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us” [Qur’an, 19:21].

God sent the angel Gabriel with a message to Mary (peace be upon her) as she painfully gave birth,

“Do not be sad… eat, drink and be comforted” [Qur’an, 19:23-26].

And when Jesus was born, he spoke from the cradle,

“Verily, I am the slave of God. He has given me the book and made me a Prophet” [Qur’an, 19:29-33].

He is the Messiah

Being a Messiah meant he was sinless, blessed, a healer, a worker of miracles, and an heir to the kingdom and prophetic lineage of David (pbuh).

He is the Word from God

Jesus is called “The Word” for a few reasons. The word of God was delivered through him. Like Adam (pbuh), Jesus was created without a father by the word of God: “Be.”

He came into being as a result of God’s command.

He is the Spirit from God

Jesus is also called “The Spirit.” God ‘blew’ His spirit into Jesus, just as He did for Adam. Therefore, Jesus was a spirit created by God and is under the ownership of God, but does not share in the essence of God.

He spoke in the cradle

When Jesus, peace be upon him, was born, the people at the time accused his mother Mary of committing fornication. In order to save her from such an accusation, the Quran explains in several places that Jesus spoke in the cradle. She pointed at him. They said, ‘How can we speak with an infant?’

He (Jesus) said: “I am indeed a slave of Allah: He has given me revelation and made me a Prophet.”

[Maryam: (19: 30-31)].

Truth about Jesus

He is the bearer of miracles

The Holy Spirit (Ruh al-Qudus) is the angel Gabriel (pbuh). Through him, God enabled Jesus to perform many miracles, including speaking from the cradle as a baby, receiving the revelation of the Torah and the Gospel, bringing life to a bird formed of clay, healing the blind, the deaf, and the sick, bringing the dead back to life, and knowing what people revealed and concealed.

These miracles were given to a believing people to inspire faith and as signs so that they may be reassured that the message of Jesus was true.

He is the slave of God and the bearer of the Gospels

Like all other Prophets before and after him, Jesus preached monotheism: that "God is One".

“Jesus said, ‘Verily, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him; that is the straight path’” [Qur’an, Al-e-Imraan: (3:51)].

On the Day of Judgment, God will have a conversation with Jesus about the message he preached on Earth. The Qur’an narrates a portion of this conversation:

“God will say, ‘O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?’ He will say, ‘Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen’” [Qur’an, Al-Maidah: (5:116)].

Jesus was born miraculously without a father

The Quran compares the birth of Jesus to the Creation of Adam. In God’s eyes, Jesus is just like Adam: “He created him from dust, said to him, ‘Be’, and he was”

(3:59). Adam was created with no parents but remains a Prophet.

He Performed miracles

He created birds from clay and blew in them to give them life, he healed the sick, blind, and was able to revive the dead. However, all of these miracles were given to him by his Creator.

Jesus in the Qur'an

Jesus foretold the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them)

“And remember Jesus, the son of Mary, said: O children of Israel! I am the Apostle of God sent to you confirming the Torah, which came before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Apostle to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad. But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said: this is evident sorcery.” [Aas Saaf: (61:6)]

“We gave Moses the Scripture [i.e., the Torah] and We sent messengers after him in succession. We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit [i.e., the angel Gabriel]. So how is it that, whenever a messenger brings you [O Children of Israel], something you do not like, you become arrogant, calling some impostors and killing others?” [Al-Bakara: (2:87)]

“Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allāh and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants [al-Asbāṭ] and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him." [Al-Bakara: (2:136)]

when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allāh gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allāh].” [Al-e-Imraan: (3:45)]

“He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous.” [Al-e-Imraan: (3:46)]

And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allāh. And I cure the blind [from birth] and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allāh. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.” [Al-e-Imraan: (3:49)]

Jesus in the Qur'an

“Say, "We have believed in Allāh and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants [al-Asbāṭ], and in what was given to Moses and Jesus

and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him." [Al-e-Imraan: (3:84)]

“Indeed, We have sent revelation to you O Prophet as We sent revelation to Noah and the prophets after him. We also sent revelation to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants, ˹as well as˺ Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon. And to David We gave the Psalms.” [Aan-Nisaa: (4:163)]

O People of the Book, do not go to excess in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary, a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers and do not speak of a ‘Trinity’- stop [this], that is better for you- God is only one God, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust.” [Aan-Nisaa: (4:171)]

“[The Day] when Allah will say,

"O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the holy Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel;

and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission;

and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic." [Al-Maidah: (5:110)]

And on Judgment Day, Allah will say,

“O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?”

Jesus will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say?

If I had said such a thing, You would have certainly known it.

You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You.

Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen. [Al-Maidah: (5:116)]

Light upon light.Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.” (Aan-Nur. 24:35)

* As soon as you pronounce this testimony with conviction, you have become a Muslim. *

* The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to add for people who convert into Islam from Christianity to make something clear, I agree that Jesus Christ is a Prophet and Messenger of Almighty God who has spirit and word from Mary who was pure. He is not son of a God, and he is not a God.

* Now say, “I bear witness that Jesus Christ is a Prophet and Messenger of God and that he is a word and spirit given to Mary who was pure and chaste”.

The Basics of ISLAM

Submission to the will of Allah is "ISLAM"

Five pillars of ISLAM

1.) Declaration of Faith (Sahada). The belief that "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad (s.a.w.s) is the Messenger of Allah".

The “Sahada” is the first and most important of the five pillars of Islam. With the pronunciation of this testimony, or “Sahada“, with sincere belief and conviction, one enters in to the fold of Islam.

2.) To establish the Prayer (Salat). There are five-prayers in a day.

3.) Alms-giving (Zakat) to poor

4.) Fasting (Sawm) in the month of Ramadan.

5.) Performing the Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah). Once in a life time and based on ability.

The Basics of ISLAM

Pillars of Imaan (Faith)

There are six pillars of Imaan.

 1.) Believe in Allah

2.) His Angels

3.) His Revelations/Books

4.) His Messengers

5.) The Last Day, and

6.) Believe in the divine decree

The Basics of ISLAM

Akeeda (Belief)

"Correct Islamic belief system," also known as "Akeedah"

The pillars of Imaan (belief) and Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) are on top of the Akeedah. It means believing in Allah, believing that He is the One and Only God. Confirming that Allah is the Only God which is the first part of the Shahadah.

Tawheed (doctrine of Oneness) is the concept of monotheism in Islam.

Allah (God) is One and unique, and the Only worthy of Worship.

The Basics of ISLAM

Tawheed

Having absolute Total faith in the 'Oneness of Allah' is Tawheed.

It means that there is only One supreme Lord of the universe. He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and the Sustainer and the Cherisher of the all Worlds. This is the basic tenet to which Muhammad (s.a.w.s) asked humanity to adhere.

Tawheed is the belief in the Oneness and unity of Allah as expressed in the first of the Five Pillars of Islam, the Shahada.

The Basics of islam

"Call upon Me; I will respond to you" (40:60). And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad), concerning Me (Allah) - indeed I am near. I (Allah) respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.  So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided." (2:186)

The Basics of ISLAM

Akeeda of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah)

The first of Islam's five pillars, the Sahada, states that Tawheed, or the belief in Allah's Oneness and Unity, is the foundation of the religion. Tawheed and Risalah are the two fundamental principles of Kaleema Sahada. belief in Mohammad's (peace be upon him) prophecy and the unity of Allah. Tawheed is the foundation of Islam and what Islam is all about. All Prophets and Messengers carried the Tawheed message that was sent by Allah. In order to call people to Islam, Allah sent the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). Tawheed is the first step on the path and the first stage of the journey to Allah.
