Duaa/Supplication  Ayat al-Kursee

Read Ayat al-Kursi after every Fard Salat:

“Bismillaheer-Rahmaneer-Raaheem”

“Allahu laa eelaahaa eella

huwaal Haayyul Qaayyum,

Laa taa khuzuhu seenaatun-waala naawmun,
Laahu maa fees-saamaawatee waa maa feel’ardee
.

Maan zaallaazee yaashfaa’u eendaahu eella beezneeh,
Yaa’laamu maa baaiynaa eydeehim
waa maa khalfaahum
.

waa laa yu-heetunaa
beeshaay’eem-meen eelmeehee
eella beema shaaa

.

waaseeaa kursee yuhus-saamaawaatee waal’aard,
Waa laa yaa uduhu heefzuhumaa waa hu-waal aleey-ul-aazeem.”

Translation:
“Allah! There is no God but He,
the Living, the Self-subsisting, the Eternal.
No slumber can seize Him, nor sleep.
All things in heavens and earth are His.
Who could intercede in His presence without His permission?
He knows what is Before or After or Behind them.
Nor can they encompass any knowledge of Him except what He wills.
His throne extends over the heavens and the earth,
and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them,
for He is the Highest and the Supreme (in glory).”                [Surah Bakara (2:255)]

After Fajr & Magrib Fard Prayer read seven times:

“Bismillaheer-Rahmaneer-Raaheem”

"Allahumma eennee aas alukal Jannah”

English: “O Allah grant us Jannah”

*Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi waa Sallam said, “If you recite this duwa 7-times after Magrib prayer and if you die between Magrib and Fajr prayer, Allah will grant you Jannah (Paradise).

And

“If you recite this duwa 7-times after Fajr prayer and if you die between Fajr and Magrib prayer, Allah will grant you Jannah (Paradise)."

English: “O Allah save me from the Hell fire”

Plural:“Allahumma Azeernaa meenan-naar”

English: “O Allah save us from the Hell fire”

*Rasulullah Sallallahu alaihi waa Sallam said, “If you recite this duwa 7-times after Magrib prayer and if you die between Magrib and Fajr prayer, Allah will save you from the Hellfire. And

“If you recite this duwa 7-times after Fajr prayer and if you die between Fajr and Magrib prayer, Allah will save you from the Hellfire.

Read/recite:

Two verse from the Surah Yasin (36:8-9)

"Eeennaa ja’alnaa feee aa’naaqeeheem aghlaalan faheeya eelaal aazqaanee faahoom mooqmahoon, (36:8),

Waa ja’alnaa meem baainee aaydeeheem saddanw-wa meen khalfeeheem saddan faa aghshai naahoom fahoom laa yoobseeroon."

We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). (36:8),

And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. (36:9)
